welcome to Rhian Green's website
Rhian Green was born in north Wales and brought up in both north west Wales and Liverpool.
She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Art and Drama from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth before moving to Cardiff to study acting at the RWCMD.
While at Aberystwyth, Rhian made her professional acting debut as the lead character Meleri in the HTV film Diwrnod Hollol Mindblowing Heddiw,directed by Euros Lyn (Dr Who, Cutting It, Belonging). She is best known for playing Elen Aaron in 3 series of award winning S4C drama, Caerdydd (Cardiff), and she has also appeared in Stick Or Twist, and Tracy Beaker (BBC). Her film credits include the leading role of Pati in BAFTA Cymru Best Feature Winning film Y Lleill (The Others). Theatre work includes Captain Oates' Left Sock (Finborough Theatre), The River (Ruth Is A Stranger Theatre Company) and How The Other Half Loves (Torch Theatre).
As a writer she was commissioned to write the short film Meddwi/Drunk for Opus TV, and earlier this year her first stage play Held was performed at the Soho Theatre in London, to much acclaim.
